Ellie Jobes
Group People Director, Bagnalls
Ellie has tackled industry skills shortages by growing Bagnalls' apprentice program to record numbers, with 108 apprentices currently on the program. She secured over £500,000 in levy transfers to ensure all new training was fully funded and launched an aspiring supervisor program for former apprentices. Her focus on diversity led to female painter numbers reaching record highs. For her efforts, Bagnalls won seven apprenticeship awards in 2025, including a Princess Royal Training Award. Ellie’s influence also reached a national level through her contributions to the Employment Rights Bill consultation at 10 Downing Street.
