Who can enter?
HR30 celebrates HR leaders making a substantial and measurable impact on their organisations. To be eligible, they must be a senior people leader in their organisation, responsible for the people function in their country or region. For example: Chief People Officer, People and Culture Director, CHRO, HR Director, Head of HR, or an equivalent substantive role.
Submissions are also open to independent consultants who can demonstrate that they have taken senior oversight and responsibility for the HR strategy and operations of an organisation – in this instance, the entry must be endorsed by a senior leader within the client organisation.
The nominations will be judged on criteria including evidence of impact on the organisation, whether measured quantitatively through key data such as financial performance, or qualitatively via employee surveys and/or testimonials from senior leaders in the organisation – entrants are advised to secure testimonials from senior leaders where possible.
HR leaders can nominate themselves or be nominated by colleagues or peers, but those submitting must be able to provide sufficient detail about the work and the organisation to satisfy the above criteria. Only one nomination per HR leader will be judged. Multiple entries will not be taken into consideration in the judging process, and we reserve the right to choose the entry to be taken forward to the judging process in this event.
Submissions are open to both CIPD members – from associate through to chartered member or chartered companion – and those without a membership. We welcome entries from under- represented groups. Entries are welcome from all sectors, and the context of your organisation and sector will be considered during the judging process.
