As Chair of the Charities HR Network (CHRN), Martyn grew the organisation to nearly 200 members and delivered a successful conference with 93% attendee satisfaction. At UNICEF UK, his progressive EDI strategy has produced notable results: the gender pay gap is now below zero, and the ethnicity pay gap has reduced for four consecutive years. Representation for Global Majority colleagues has reached 27%, with LGBTQIA+ and disabled representation also at high levels. Martyn also led changes that saved UNICEF UK £1.5 million, ensuring the charity could deliver maximum impact during difficult global circumstances.
